Simon is a former decathlete with tremendous talent for throwing and overall he is just a great athlete. He has perfect body for throwing the discus far and it looks like he is on his way to something bigger in the future. 

Simon joined our training group in 2013 and our management in spring 2016. He is coached by Vésteinn Hafsteinsson and has a personal best of 64.88m. He had a major breakthrough, when he qualified for World Championships final and achieved 11th pos there.
